SweetNay collects personal information only for clear business purposes: answering inquiries, preparing orders, managing club perks, processing payments, coordinating events, improving service, and protecting the website.

Accountability and contact

SweetNay is responsible for personal information under its control. Privacy questions, access requests, correction requests, deletion requests, and marketing opt-outs can be sent to hello@sweetnay.ca.

Information collected

  • Contact details such as name, email, phone number, and social or WhatsApp handle when provided.
  • Order and event details such as date, occasion, guest count, pickup or delivery needs, setup notes, budget, inspiration links, and dietary concerns.
  • Club and account details such as birthday month, coupons, preferences, referrals, and communication choices.
  • Technical details such as cookie preferences, language choice, device/browser information, security logs, and basic site usage.

How information is used

Information is used to respond to messages, create quotes, confirm orders, prepare food safely, coordinate pickup, delivery, and setup, process payment, apply coupons, send opted-in updates, prevent fraud or misuse, improve services, and meet legal or accounting requirements.

Consent and choices

SweetNay asks for consent appropriate to the context. Customers can choose not to provide optional information, but some services may not be available without details needed to prepare, deliver, or support an order.

Marketing communications

Promotional emails, club updates, flavour drops, referral offers, and campaign messages are sent only when a customer signs up, requests them, or otherwise consents. Customers can unsubscribe or ask SweetNay to stop promotional messages at any time. Operational messages about active orders may still be sent.

Service providers and transfers

SweetNay may use trusted providers for hosting, payment processing, email, analytics, customer support, AI assistance, social messaging, delivery coordination, and business administration. Providers may process information in Canada or other jurisdictions and must use it only for the service provided to SweetNay.

AI and messaging channels

If customers use the assistant, WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or another messaging channel, the content they send may be used to answer the request, plan an event, update a cart, or prepare a quote. Customers should not send payment card numbers, passwords, or unnecessary sensitive information through chat.

Retention and safeguards

SweetNay keeps personal information only as long as needed for the purpose collected, order records, customer support, legal or accounting requirements, food-safety records, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and business operations. Reasonable administrative, technical, and access controls are used to protect customer information.

Access, correction, and deletion

Customers may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information by contacting hello@sweetnay.ca. SweetNay may need to verify identity before acting on a request and may retain some records where required or permitted by law.
